Cash Bases Win Award for ‘Most Innovative Product’ at one of Europe’s Leading Retail Events - Equipmag, Paris.

Cash Bases are pleased to announce that their PowerBase range of wireless workstations has won a prestigious award for innovation within the EPoS category. The ‘Equipmag 2002 Trophy for Innovations’ awarded by Technomag (the section within Equipmag dedicated to technological solutions), was presented to Cash Bases at the Equipmag exhibition in Paris. The PowerBase concept demonstrated how a technological solution can enhance store management, reduce queue times and improve customer loyalty.

The new PowerBase range is a family of wireless workstations, with on board power that allows the EPoS system to become truly mobile. The base unit provides an uninterrupted power supply from which a Pos terminal can be run, integrating with the back office via RF technology. Mobility enables the EPoS to react to customer flow patterns; this level of flexibility is ideal when stores are being refurbished, for special promotions and queue busting. PowerBase units eliminate the need for data cabling or power points so can be located anywhere from entrance areas to car parks.
